190 million pound case Imran Khan's bail application, set for application

Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri will hear the bail application on March 20

PTI founder Imran Khan's bail plea in the £190 million reference case has been fixed for hearing on March 20 in the Islamabad High Court. On Thursday, the cause list of the hearing was canceled due to the non-availability of the Chief Justice. 

A new cause list has been released, on the day of the hearing, there will be arguments on the bail application of the founder PTI.

It is being told that the statements of 3 more NAB witnesses have been recorded in the hearing of the 190 million pound reference case against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail of Rawalpindi.

It has been learned that the hearing of the case in this regard was conducted by Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the Accountability Court, where the lawyers of PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, Barrister Salman Safdar, Barrister Ali Zafar, Usman Gul and Zaheer Abbas Chaudhry appeared in the court. 

Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan was also present in the courtroom. In the hearing, the jail authorities allowed only 6 lawyers to enter.

It has been reported that the jail authorities allowed only 6 journalists to cover the proceedings while the media was allowed to cover 2 kilometers away from the jail, the security inside and around the jail was also tightened. 

PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi's wife, son and daughter were also present outside the jail for the meeting, a large number of lawyers were also present outside the jail.

After the hearing, speaking informally to the media, Imran Khan said that everything is going on a lie, the election was rigged, the credibility of the institutions has been destroyed, now it is being called a security threat, this is also a lie. The whole country is running on lies, institutions have been destroyed. 

He said that PTI was not allowed to enter the field in the elections, the voters took revenge on them on the polling day, but the change through vote was not recognized, they have destroyed the hope of the nation by taking away the mandate.
