Announcement of Imran Ismail, Ali Zaidi, and Khursheed Bakhtiar Leaving PTI
After being released from Karachi Central Jail in the case of inciting violence, former Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail has declared his departure from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.
Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, Imran Ismail said that this is his last political press conference. Someone will have to take responsibility for the events of May 9, and there should be real consequences for the culprits, although it is yet to be determined who carried out the attacks on the GHQ, the Corps Commander's house, and MM Alam's aircraft.
He said that our hearts are with our martyrs, and I cannot say that I have no connection with the military.
Imran Ismail announced his departure from PTI by stating that he is unsure about politics, whether to do it or not, but he resigns from all positions in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and wishes Imran Khan well.
Former Member of National Assembly Shaukat Ali's Announcement to Leave PTI
Former PTI member Shaukat Ali, who hails from Peshawar, also announced his departure from the party and returned his ticket for the by-elections.
In a press conference in Peshawar, Shaukat Ali, who has ties to Peshawar, stated that he condemns the events that took place on May 9 and 10, and for this reason, he cannot continue his journey with the PTI.
He said that the military and the country belong to us, and we never support violent protests, while we believe in democracy, what happened on May 9 was not democracy.
Shaukat Ali announced his resignation from the party's advisory committee membership and party affiliation and returned the PTI ticket for the by-elections.
He mentioned that he will make a decision about the future after consultation, but for now, he wants to focus on employment.
Opposition leader Shahzad Wasim strongly condemned the events of May 9th while speaking to the media. He expressed severe condemnation for the attacks on military installations, Jinnah House, and the memorial for martyrs.
He stated that it is time for the individuals involved in the attacks to face punishment as the martyrs sacrificed their lives for the nation. The security of Pakistan faces challenges, and a strong military is necessary to counter these challenges.
Senator Shahzad Wasim further emphasized that the Pakistani armed forces have made various sacrifices for the security of the country. He stated that lighting candles cannot bring the same level of security as the sacrifices made by the armed forces.
He announced that he will hold an important press conference soon where he will address his political future and express his condemnation of the events of May 9th.
Hashim Dogar announces departure from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)
Hashim Dogar, a PTI leader, and Chaudhry Akhlaq held a joint press conference where Hashim Dogar expressed his condemnation of the events of May 9th. He stated that the Pakistani armed forces and state institutions are their red line.
Hashim Dogar announced his departure from the PTI. He stated that they will not abandon the people of their constituency and that individuals involved in the events of May 9th should be punished. He emphasized that the state should prioritize politics.
He stated that he has served in the Pakistani armed forces for 30 years, and the people of the armed forces are sacrificing their lives for the country.

Former Health Minister of Punjab, Dr. Atta-ul-Malik, and former provincial assembly member, Mian Tariq Abdullah, also announced their departure from the PTI.
Ali Zaidi announces departure from politics
Ali Zaidi, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), announced his departure from politics, while former federal minister Khursheed Bakhtiar also wished the PTI well.
In a video statement, Ali Zaidi expressed his condemnation of the events of May 9th and stated that he has made the decision to leave politics after careful consideration. He is resigning from all positions in the PTI.

Khursheed Bakhtiar also wished the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) well upon leaving. In his video message, Khursheed Bakhtiar announced his departure from the PTI, stating that a year ago, he had informed the party's top leadership that aligning the party's national institutions with the new political strategy would be detrimental to the PTI.
They stated that due to the PTI's policy, they have chosen to distance themselves from the PTI's politics. They have also resigned from the party's committee membership and the presidency of South Punjab.

Khursheed Bakhtiar further expressed that the heart-wrenching events of May 9 compelled him to distance himself from the political philosophy of the PTI. He stated that he has dedicated 25 years to fulfilling local, provincial, and national responsibilities and cannot continue with the political philosophy of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Sheikh Yaqoob, a PTI leader from Jhang, has also announced his departure from the party. On the other hand, there is an ongoing trend of PTI leaders leaving the party.
Malik Qasim Khan Khattak, Faisal Dhakko, Mehr Ishaq Kathiya, and Jamal Akbar Ansari have also bid farewell to the party.
