Official contact of PPP and PML-N for government formation 

In the meeting held at Bilawal House Lahore, an agreement in principle was reached on political cooperation

Pakistan People's Party and Muslim League-N have formally contacted for government formation, in the meeting held between the two parties at Bilawal House Lahore, a principled consensus was found on political cooperation between Pakistan Muslim League-N and People's Party. 

According to the details, President PPP Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with former Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Bilawal House. 

The leaders of both parties agreed to cooperate politically to steer the country away from political instability and vowed to save the country from political instability.

The joint statement states that in the meeting, both parties consulted on the post-election situation and discussed the proposals. On this occasion, the PP leadership said that the proposals of the Muslim League-N should be presented in the meeting of the Central Executive Committee.Ahmad Khan, Maryam Aurangzeb and Shaza Fatima. .
