National Assembly presented a bill for election expenses

National Assembly presented a bill for election expenses, as the Election Commission of Punjab faced a shortage of funds. Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar introduced the bill for election expenses in the National Assembly.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was also present at the National Assembly session.

The speaker referred the relevant bill to the standing committee and adjourned the session until Thursday at 2 pm.

The bill for election expenses was also presented in the Senate.

    What did Ishaq Dar say?

Addressing the National Assembly session, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the world acknowledged Pakistan's progress, and by 2030, Pakistan was on track to be included in the top 20 economies. However, the selected democratic government's policies were damaged by a conspiracy.

He stated that the successful government's economic policies were harmed, and when the selected government was removed, we inherited a damaged economy. The entire effort of the PTI is to make the country bankrupt.

Ishaq Dar said that doubts were raised about my foreign trips, and the PTI leadership is trying to spread disinformation in the country.

They said that these people have engaged in anti-state activities and do not allow any opportunity for progress. The economy was already in shambles, but their actions have completely destroyed it. The Finance Minister stated that our first challenge was to prevent the country from defaulting, and the next phase is to put the country on the path of progress. These conspirators are still plotting against the country. They cannot be considered as leaders of the country who engage in anti-state activities.

The Federal Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was the only government that completed the IMF program from 2013 to 2016. He stated that now we are moving towards economic stability and trying to put Pakistan back on the path of progress.

It is clear that the Supreme Court had given a deadline to release 21 billion rupees, which has not been met yet. The Election Commission has been instructed to inform the Supreme Court tomorrow.
