The government has decided to lower the cost of petrol by 100 rupees specifically for those who are economically disadvantaged.

Lahore: Minister for Petroleum, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, has announced that the government has decided to reduce the prices of petroleum products for the benefit of the poor people. Speaking at a news conference in Lahore, he said that there would be a difference of Rs. 100 in the price of petrol for the rich and the poor. The decision to provide relief on petrol for the poor will be implemented in 6 weeks. The minister said that those with cars would have to pay higher prices for petrol.

He said that Pakistan cannot be a country where people who steal bread are sent to jail, while others who commit crimes such as the one for which courts kept summoning us, are not held accountable. The Banigala estate is Imran Khan's property, which covers 400 kanals. How did he dare to do that? Why was the police sent away? The workers sitting outside will create such a commotion about the country and the law. Imran Khan says whatever is written in the constitution and the law, will it be applied to me? The constitution may be there, but it will not be applied to me.

Criticizing former Prime Ministers, he said that the person who was given the constitution in his hand, who did not have the vote, but was given a paper of selected and rigged corruption to protect the poor people of this country, is saying all this about them.

The Minister said that he had requested the Prime Minister that there are two types of people in this country, the rich and the poor, and the Prime Minister responded by saying that stand with the poor. Our party leader Nawaz Sharif also said the same thing and the Prime Minister agreed that if there are two types of people, then stand with the poor.

They said that we have separated the gas bills of the rich and the poor. Our leadership said that if a poor person is using gas, then separate Pakistan for him. After today, he will only pay a quarter of the bill. We also respect the rich, but they will pay four times more and we will collect that money to provide gas to these poor people.

The Minister of State has revealed that the Prime Minister and Nawaz Sharif have suggested that the petrol of the poor and the rich should be separated, and the expenses for petrol for both should also be separated, like gas. According to the Prime Minister's instructions, a scheme has been presented in which they were told that in the future, the cost of petrol for the poor will be reduced. 

They said that they will charge more for petrol for big cars, which will reduce the price of petrol for the poor. They said that those households that are using necessities have the right to use them, they are made with hard work, but now they will have to bear the high cost of gas and petrol.

The Minister of State for Petroleum, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, said that the decision to reduce the price of petroleum products by Rs. 100 for the poor will be implemented in 6 weeks. The decision to separate the gas tariff has been implemented since January 1. Yesterday, there were reports in the media that the prices would be reduced by Rs. 50, but the Prime Minister said that it should be reduced to Rs. 100, after which the decision was made to reduce the price of petrol by Rs. 100 compared to the rich.

They said that those who are wealthy, use luxury items, and drive expensive cars, will pay the actual price. This is not anyone's father's land, there are 22 crore people in this country, out of which 21 crore are poor, who earn their bread with dignity but with difficulty. We will take from those whom Allah has given, and those who are trying to raise their children with dignity on Allah's earth, and are striving to serve their parents, facilities will be provided for them in their lives.

The minister said that currently the policy of differentiating between rich and poor is only on two things (gas and petrol), but this policy will now be visible in everything. They said that after a few weeks, they will bring a third program. As long as our government is in power, our policies will continue to tax the rich and create ease in the life of the poor.

They said that the Ramadan package has been announced, and a note has been taken on the rising prices of flour during the month of Ramadan. The gas circular has ended the data of 1700 billion rupees. We are working on LNG. It is not possible to announce low prices for gas and then withdraw it. A message will be sent on the data of motorbikes, cars, and identity cards for cheap petrol. They will not allow more than 2 or 3 liters of petrol for motorbikes. The poor need 21 liters of petrol. They will give a subsidy of up to 30 liters to car drivers.

The minister of the country said that he never said that oil would come from Russia in March, but he had said that we would order it in April. We are in talks to buy oil from Russia. There is no objection to oil from Iran. No other country will do what we do. We will make our own decisions. International restrictions should not be imposed on oil.

They said that there are two Pakistan's, one is powerful and the other is weak, there are two Pakistan's.
