Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan's conversation with the accountability court judge came to light.
According to media reports, during the hearing, Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir asked PTI leader Imran Khan, "Have you submitted your 342 statement?"
After being sentenced, Imran Khan addressed the judge and said, "Why are you in such a hurry?"
I was only called to attend but the sentence was pronounced. After hearing the sentence, the leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf left the court room and the jail authorities informed the court that Imran Khan was not ready to return to the court room.
It should be noted that the Accountability Court sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife in the Tosha Khana case, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 14 and 14 years in prison in the Tosha Khana reference.
While the former prime minister and his wife have also been declared ineligible for public office for 10 years, the case was heard by Judge Muhammad Bashir of the Accountability Court in Adiala Jail and today Imran Khan and Bushra B. Sentence B, in which a fine of 1 billion 573 million rupees was also imposed on the former prime minister and his wife.
It is being told that the 342 statement of PTI founder was recorded today in this case, in the previous hearing, the court had recorded the 342 statement of Bushra Bibi based on the questionnaire containing 25 questions in the Toshakhana reference, Imran Khan.
The lawyers filed a request to restore the right of cross-examination in the court, after hearing the arguments, the court rejected the request to restore the right of cross-examination.
Yesterday, during the hearing, former Prime Minister Imran Khan had spoken to Judge Muhammad Bashir of the Accountability Court and said that 'You have terminated our right to defend, I wanted to cross-examine the witnesses myself, I request that our right to cross-examine be restored.
"Is the sentence to be announced today?" Judge Muhammad Bashir said, "Don't worry." Imran Khan told the court that 'We have got the actual value of the Tosha Khana gifts, we had to cross-examine for it, I had to expose the false witnesses, you did everything in a hurry, the accusation against me.
False witnesses were presented against me, I am repeatedly saying my wife has nothing to do with this case.
