Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad passed judgment on bail applications in vandalism cases
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has been granted bail in 3 cases and vice-chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi in 2 cases. According to the details, the Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad has accepted the bail applications in 3 cases of vandalism of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and 2 cases of former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. During the hearing, Prosecutor Raja Naveed and PTI's lawyers, Sardar Bhagzi and Khalid Yusuf, appeared in the court.
On this occasion, the prosecutor Raja Naveed told the court that the PTI leaders deliberately staged the protest, Imran Khan misled the people and tried to create agitation, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leaders are being given unnecessary leniency. It is from the court that the bails of Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Imran Khan should be dismissed.
The judge asked the prosecutor that "Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Imran Khan were not present at the time"? To which the prosecutor Raja Naveed replied that 'No! Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Imran Khan were not present on the spot, Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain said that the bails of other co-accused have been confirmed.
Along with this, ATC judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain accepted the bails of PTI chief Imran Khan and PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi in exchange of 30, 30 thousand rupees. Chief Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi's bails are approved.
