In his statement, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial has cemented his name in history by upholding the Supreme Court, the Constitution, and democracy.

He said that today the Supreme Court has buried the theory of necessity and the Chief Justice has fulfilled his duty to protect the Constitution.

He further said that the Supreme Court's decision has elevated the dignity of our judiciary in the entire world.

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that today, even outside of Pakistan, people are celebrating.

He added that if the government attempts any adventure against the Chief Justice, the nation will give a befitting response.
