The policies made for a handful of individuals have pushed the country towards bankruptcy, Mian Zahid Hussain. The poor people are no longer capable of playing a role in the country's development, President Karachi Industrial Alliance.

Mian Zahid Hussain, the Chairman of the National Business Group Pakistan, has criticized the economic policies that were made for the benefit of a handful of individuals and have brought the country to the brink of collapse. He believes that unless policies are focused on public welfare and just distribution of wealth, the country will not have a future.

Hussain argues that policies that push resources from bottom to top make the poor even poorer and do not contribute to the country's development. He further adds that if all the capital is diverted from industry and agriculture to non-productive sectors, the country will not progress.

He also supports the idea of improving relations with the United States, which is a significant export market for Pakistan and where 83% of Pakistan's export earnings come from. Hussain suggests that the trade balance between Pakistan and the US has been in Pakistan's favor since the 1990s, and focusing on this relationship could be beneficial for the country. However, he also acknowledges that Pakistan has been imposing taxes on various sectors for decades, but the government has failed to collect sufficient revenue, which results in a loss of trillions of rupees each year. Hussain believes that implementing the Point of Sales System could increase tax collection and reduce poverty in the country.

In conclusion, Mian Zahid Hussain has criticized economic policies that benefit a small group of individuals and ignore public welfare. He suggests that policies should focus on just wealth distribution and the productive sectors of the economy. He also highlights the importance of improving trade relations with the US and implementing an effective tax collection system to reduce poverty in the country.
