Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has assured a delegation of top businessmen that Pakistan will emerge successful from its current economic challenges and the country will progress, leading to a happy and prosperous nation. The meeting was held on Monday with ten leading business personalities and was attended by Finance Minister Asad Umar as well. According to a report by Jung News, the Army Chief assured the businessmen of the country's economic turnaround and said that the risk of default has been averted. He expressed confidence that the current economic difficulties will be controlled.

The Army Chief emphasized the need for the business community to remain determined and confident. He told them that although difficulties come, the nation has surpassed worse situations and will continue to do so. He referred to Islamic teachings and said that people should remain steadfast and resilient.

The businessmen present at the meeting considered it very successful. The Army Chief and the Finance Minister informed them that all previous IMF conditions had been met, and the agreement would be finalized in a few days. According to a source, the businessmen asked the Army Chief why the establishment was not making efforts to bring the politicians together so that the country could get out of the current crisis. The Army Chief replied that the military was working on this and was already in touch with the politicians.
