Concerns over Imran Khan's arrest as heavy police force reaches Zaman Park

Police officials, along with PTI workers, have arrived to carry out the warrant and make the arrest. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad has also reached the scene. According to media reports, a heavy police force has reached Zaman Park for the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. Two police officers are seen holding placards in their hands. A note on the placard mentions the receipt of a notice. PTI workers have also arrived and taken positions with sticks in their hands. A police van has also reached Imran Khan's residence.

According to the statement of the Islamabad Police, warrants have been issued and they have come to arrest Imran Khan. The Operations IG of Islamabad Police, Shahzad Bukhari, has arrived at the Jinnah Park for Imran Khan's arrest. The police have completed consultations with Lahore police for cooperation, according to sources.

Preparations have been made in the event of a reaction from the PTI workers. The police have prepared lists of local leaders and workers of PTI. Those who attempt to obstruct legal action will be dealt with firmly.

Sources claim that Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, is expected to be arrested within the next 24 hours. Islamabad Police are expected to take action on the non-bailable warrant for his arrest in the cases of Tohshekhana and Lady Judge Kodhamki. The Islamabad Police team, using a private helicopter, took Imran Khan's warrant to Lahore where a meeting of Lahore and Islamabad police officers continued for several hours. In the meeting, it was decided that the Islamabad Police team arriving in Lahore would be fully assisted, and the Lahore Police would cooperate with the Islamabad Police team to reach Imran Khan's residence. The Islamabad Police will also contact Imran Khan's Chief Security Officer before going to Jinnah Park.
