    The fire broke out in the shoes and clothes section which engulfed more shops, fire brigade vehicles were called from Pakistan Navy, Air Force and other organizations to extinguish the fire.


    A terrible fire broke out in the cheap market of Sector H-Nine of the federal capital Islamabad. According to media reports, a fire suddenly broke out in Bachat Bazar in H9 Islamabad during the day, the flames engulfed hundreds of shops and stalls, rescue 1122 personnel, 5 fire brigade vehicles and CDA staff reached the spot, Assistant Commissioner I Nine also visited the cheap market.

    It is reported that the fire broke out in the footwear and clothing section, which engulfed more shops. Due to the high intensity of the fire, fire brigade vehicles from Pakistan Navy, Air Force and other agencies were called to douse the area as soon as possible. 

    The fire must be brought under control, as a result of which the horrific fire that broke out in the cheap market of H Nine was brought under control, during the rescue operation, 31 fire brigade vehicles and personnel of CDA and 1122 took part.


    Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa while talking to the media said that the fire broke out at 7 minutes past 11 o'clock, the fire brigade on the spot started work immediately, due to the rain our team was already in the field. 

    31 fire brigade vehicles took part in the fire fighting process, water bowsers were also involved in the relief operations, due to which the fire has been 100% controlled, however, 500 to 700 shops were damaged due to this incident of fire. 

    He said that the IG Islamabad has been asked to seal the area so that the fire does not flare up again. To find out the reasons for the fire in the market, a joint committee of DC and police officials will be formed. 

    The committee will be formed in 7 days. The committee will be headed by the Deputy Commissioner, in which technical people will be included. Whatever damage has been done will be redressed, the Prime Minister said. It is directed that whoever suffers loss should be paid.

    It is being told that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi took notice of the incident of fire in Bachat Bazar, he contacted Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa. He called for a revert and also ordered an investigation into the fire incident.
